English File
In my work with adult students, I use the English File textbook. It is currently one of the most popular English language textbooks in the world.
As the authors themselves say, "This is a course that will get students talking." And I completely agree. Like many others, this textbook is based on a communicative approach. But, more importantly, the material is written in modern language, presented in an engaging manner, and covers topics that will spark any student's interest. After all, if someone is interested in something, they start actively discussing it! Furthermore, a major plus is that grammar rules are introduced in the simplest and most understandable language possible.
I've worked through all six levels of this manual, from Beginner to Advanced. Like any other, it consists of a student textbook, which we use in class, a workbook for written homework, audio CDs, a DVD (with videos, an interactive textbook, and a self-study program), a teacher's manual, additional materials on the website, and much more! There's so much material that it's not always possible to use it all in a lesson.
Each course in the textbook consists of 10-12 units, each comprising 2-3 lessons. They contain grammar rules, texts (based on the grammar material covered or new vocabulary), various stories, quizzes, games, songs, audiobooks, videos on various topics (including a video story with a storyline), pronunciation and writing exercises, and, most importantly, lots of conversation!
Speakout
Another excellent textbook I use with adult students is Speakout. It's a six-level English course for adults, based on authentic BBC materials. Like English File, Speakout is built on a communicative approach and includes, in addition to the standard set of materials, excerpts from feature films and documentaries, and video files with BBC interviews on various topics (sports, travel, work, leisure, the environment, etc.).
Cutting Edge
Cutting Edge is a six-level course for young people and adults (ages 15 and up). It offers well-balanced material for developing all language skills and enhancing vocabulary and grammar. The textbook is accompanied by various videos and digital components, allowing students to learn the language using modern tools.
Face2Face
A renowned and highly popular general English course in Europe for young people and adults who want to learn to communicate quickly and effectively in today's world. Based on a communicative approach, the course combines the best of current methodology with new features that facilitate language learning and teaching.
Equal attention is paid to both grammar and vocabulary, with an emphasis on listening and speaking in real-life situations.
The excellent multimedia component of this textbook motivates students to study the language interactively, including independently.
Business Result
A modern comprehensive course in business English.
A cutting-edge textbook, saturated with business vocabulary, concepts, and terminology. The primary focus is on teaching communication skills and fluent pronunciation.

This coursebook is based on the lexical approach, meaning it contains a vast number of modern words and expressions that help students understand how English vocabulary actually works. In addition, it includes plenty of grammar activities that illustrate what is really used in contemporary spoken and written English.
A great deal of attention is paid to speaking practice, giving students the opportunity to express themselves freely on any topic in English.
Alongside the standard Student’s Book and Workbook, Outcomes also comes with a Vocabulary Builder. This book includes all the new words covered in class, their definitions and explanations (like in a dictionary), as well as the most common collocations.
By using the Vocabulary Builder instead of a traditional dictionary, students can immerse themselves more deeply in the language environment and retain new vocabulary much more effectively.
Oxford English for Information Technology
This course is designed for people studying Information Technology or working in the IT field. It is suitable for use in universities, technical schools, and adult education programs for those who want to improve and expand their language skills.
